While with Sparta Living magazine, I managed content strategy while curating, writing, editing and proofreading the monthly publication. This involved interviewing and featuring hundreds of families and businesses while also editing advertiser-supplied content, creating stories that inspired readers and drove business. I handled social media for the publication, increasing followers 540% within two years, and also developed sponsorship and partnership marketing opportunities for advertisers. Sparta Living experienced 109% page growth during my 3+ year tenure.
Earlier in my career, I functioned as New Jersey editor for family-focused site Mommy Poppins, collaborating with our freelance team while writing articles, editing submissions, sourcing photos and managing the content schedule. While under my supervision, Mommy Poppins became the leading New Jersey-focused parenting website.
